Family and MWR cordially invites you to this year on Women’s Equality Day, we celebrate women’s
increased representation and firsts in a variety of career fields, while also reflecting on future opportunities for continued
improvement. The Defense Department honors the contributions of women serving in the military and celebrates the richness and
diversity of their achievements.
This year’s Women’s Equality Day Poster depicts the first all-female team of naval aviators for a Super Bowl flyover. The flyover also commemorated 50 years of women flying in the U.S. Navy.
